Hikvision devices that have the functionality to authenticate via face templates, also have the functionality to save photos of successful facial authentications on the device. (Hikvision refers to them as “attendance photos”)
Please note that this functionality is only available for direct local (LAN) Hikvision integrations with Jarrison Time.
When an import of clockings is done through Jarrison Time, authentication photos can be saved in the C:\JT-Data\Hikvision Attendance Photos folder with the date and time stamps of the clocking linked to the photo.
The following steps will need to be followed to enable this photo import to work. Start from the device’s web portal.
1) Login the Hikvision interface of the device by entering the IP address into an Internet browser.
2) Navigate to Configuration > Security > Privacy setting (note that this setting may appear elsewhere for different firmware and device models), and enable the option Save Picture with Auth.

In Jarrison Time:
1) Login and navigate to the System Configuration > Misc tab.
2) The Hikvision Attendance Photos entry should be set to ‘Yes’ to import the attendance photos to the C:\JT-Data\Hikvision Attendance Photos folder.

JT File Arranger can be used to move and zip the Hikvision Attendance Photos to a specified location, on a regular basis.
The File Arranger ini file will need to be updated as follows to move these photos:

TimerInterval(hh:mm:ss) – This is the time interval in which File Arranger should move the Hikvision Attendance Photos.
InputPath – Should be left blank.
OutputPath – The location where the Hikvision Attendance Photos should be moved and zipped to. Please note that a sub-folder ‘Hikvision Attendance Photos’ will be created in the specified Output folder. E.g. When OutputPath=C:\DEL, the photos will be moved to C:\DEL\Hikvision Attendance Photos
SiteName – Should be set as ‘HikPhotos’.
FileLog – If set as true, this will log the steps the File Arranger does in the C:\JT-Data\JT-File-Arranger\Log folder. If false, no logging of steps occurs.
DeleteFiles – Deletes Hikvision Attendance Photos that are older than the number specified in months. When DeleteFiles=1, Hikvision Attendance Photos that are older than 1 month will be deleted, and Hikvision Attendance Photos that are less than 1 month old will be moved according to the TimeInterval.
Please note that File Arranger will only move photos that are older than 3 days. Photos that have been created within the last 3 days will stay in the C:\JT-Data\Hikvision Attendance Photos folder.
