If Jarrison Time is trying to create a backup, and results in an audit entry or message reading “C:\JT-Backup does not exist on the SQL Server machine”, please follow the below steps to allow successful backup creation. Jarrison Time requires a folder named “JT-Backup” on the machine hosting the Jarrison Time database, and needs the correct permissions to be able to write in the folder.
1) Start by confirming the existence of the C:\JT-Backup folder. Log in to the database server, and browse using Windows Explorer.
2) If the folder is missing, create it and ensure Jarrison Time will have write permission to the folder.
3) Creating a backup can be re-attempted now.
